The six awards of the Asian New Talent Award were revealed on June 19, and the Iranian film 13 by director Hooman Seyedi became the biggest winner and bagged two awards including Best Film. 

Asian New Talent Award has been upgraded this year to be the only professional awards to new filmmakers in form of nomination in Asian. 15 Asian films have been selected, including NORTH BY NORTHEAST and NEZHA, these two films were produced by China Film International (CFI). The awards become a new indicator of the Asian film. Hong Kong famous director, President of China Film International Stanley Tong was invited to attend and issued Best Sreenplay Award.
